Transfer window: Liverpool biggest EPL spenders, ahead of Chelsea, Arsenal
Premier League champions, Liverpool, are now the biggest spenders in the transfer window, with their summer spree now close to £300 million.
The recent signing of striker Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt for £79 million has taken Liverpool’s spending to £295.5million, according to Sky Sports.
The amount is over £75 million more than the next biggest spenders, Chelsea (second).
Arne Slot’s side have even spent more than Manchester City (third) and Arsenal (fourth) combined.
Behind them is Tottenham Hotspur, who are the fourth biggest spenders with £110.7 million spent so for.
Newly promoted Premier League club Sunderland have spent £107 million already.

Meanwhile, Chelsea still remains EPL’s all-time biggest spenders in the transfer window.
