At least three transfer deals will be wrapped up after the men’s football event ended at the 2024 Olympics.

Spain defeated hosts France 5-3 in the final played on Friday, with Sergio Camello scoring two goals in extra time to seal victory.

Attentions will now be turned to club football with the new season set to kick off.

Samu Omorodion, who was with the Spaniard team, will undergo his medicals with Chelsea and Amir Richardson will complete his move to Fiorentina.

Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, wrote on X: “Several deals are set to be completed after the end of the Olympics.

“Samu Omorodion will sign seven year deal at Chelsea.

“Amir Richardson, set to join Fiorentina for €9m plus €1m add-ons and sell-on.

“Marc Pubill, Atalanta player for €15m plus add-ons.”
