Transfer: Real Madrid to sign Konate as Man Utd take decision on Tolisso

Real Madrid are working to sign Liverpool defender, Ibrahima Konaté as a free agent next summer.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Konaté was close to extending his contract with Liverpool last year, but the situation has changed.

However, should Liverpool decide to sell the 26-year-old Frenchman this summer, Real Madrid could make a move for the player.

Meanwhile, in another development, Manchester United have made contact to inquire about Lyon midfielder, Corentin Tolisso.

According to L’ Equipe, the Red Devils are keen to sign Tolisso in order to bolster their midfielder options this summer.

Tolisso’s current contract with Lyon will expire in the summer of 2027.

The 30-year-old joined the French Ligue 1 side from Bayern Munich in 2022.
