Transfer: Rashford ready to accept 40% pay cut to join Barcelona
Manchester United attacker, Marcus Rashford is willing to accept a 40 percent pay cut in order to join Barcelona this summer transfer window.
According to The Touchline, Rashford’s dream is to play for the LaLiga champions next season.
This is coming after Rashford demanded a starring role if he joins the Catalan club this summer.
The England international also wants to be guaranteed a significant role in Barcelona manager Hansi Flick’s squad as his sights is set on a place in the Three Lions squad at the 2026 World Cup.
His potential move to Barcelona appears more likely since the Blaugrana failed to sign their number one target Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao this summer.
Rashford, who spent some months on loan at Aston Villa last season, is widely expected to leave Man United this summer.
The 27-year-old fell out with the Red Devils manager Ruben Amorim last season and was frozen out of the first-team squad.
