Transfer: Man Utd eye Angelo Stiller after Baleba move falls through

Manchester United are looking at Stuttgart’s Angelo Stiller, as they explore the market for a midfielder in this transfer window.

Stiller is a player United admire and are considering signing to bolster Ruben Amorim’s squad.

However, it has not gone further than initial interest, as there has been no club-to-club contact.

Stiller is a Germany international and still has three years left on his contract at Stuttgart.

Carlos Baleba was a primary target, but Brighton made it clear he was not for sale.

The focus at United remains on sales and at this stage further incomings are unlikely.

United, however, want to be in a position to act if a market opportunity were to present itself.
