Transfer: Inter Milan walk away from Lookman deal

Inter Milan are set to inform Ademola Lookman’s agent that they are no longer pursuing his signing from Atalanta.

The Serie A rivals had been engaged in negotiations for Lookman, with multiple offers made and rejected.

Atalanta, however, remain unwilling to sell the Nigerian forward to another Italian club.

This stance has left Inter frustrated, and the club is now prepared to walk away from the deal.

Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano wrote on X: “Inter will talk to Ademola Lookman’s agent in next 24h, expected to inform the Nigerian forward about deal OFF.

“Negotiations with Atalanta are completely frozen since two weeks ago.

“Lookman deal was never linked to Nicola Zalewski’s move to Atalanta, as always reported.”
