Transfer: ‘I’ll be coming to Istanbul soon’ – Osimhen tells friends

Nigeria international, Victor Osimhen has told his friends in Istanbul, Turkey, that he will be coming to the city very soon, amid his expected transfer to Galatasaray.

This was disclosed by respected Galatasaray reporter, Yakup Çınar.

Çınar stated this while evaluating the transfer agenda of the yellow-reds on the Yeni Açık YouTube channel.

“Throughout this transfer window, Osimhen wasn’t answering the phone calls of many of his friends in Istanbul,” Çınar said (via habersarikirmizi).

“From today on, he started answering them and told them, ‘I’ll be coming to Istanbul soon.’ Osimhen’s ears are also in Italy,” he stated.

Galatasaray and Napoli recently struck a deal on bank guarantees and payment plans for Osimhen’s permanent transfer to the Turkish giants this summer.

The Turkish champions will pay the Serie A champions Osimhen’s €75m release clause in two instalments – €40m now and €35m within one year.

Osimhen spent last season on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli and was impressive for the Turkish giants.
