Transfer: Ex-Italy star happy Osimhen joined Galatasaray

Former Italy winger, Lorenzo Insigne says he is happy that Victor Osimhen joined Galatasaray from Napoli.

Osimhen linked up with Galatasaray on loan in September after failing to secure a move to Al-Ahli and Chelsea.

Insigne stated that Osimhen has the right to make his choice.

“I didn’t expect it. Victor is smart, and I am sure he made his own choices,” he told Il Corriere dello Sport.

Insigne played with Osimhen during his stint with Napoli.

He is delighted his friend joined another ex-Napoli star in Turkey.

“I don’t know what happened with Napoli, but I’m happy for him, especially because he’ll play with Mertens. I can see that they have fun together,” concluded Insigne.
