Former Arsenal captain, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, is in talks with Marseille over a possible return.

The move would see Aubameyang return to France where he made his name.

The Ligue 1 side are currently negotiating the financial details of the player’s contract as they are set to offer the forward a two-year deal.

Aubameyang is a free agent after Al-Qadsiah agreed to mutually terminate his contract.

Only a year ago, Aubameyang left Marseille to join the Saudi Pro League side.

Despite scoring an impressive 17 goals in his maiden season, Al-Qadsiah club have decided to let the player leave.

Al-Qadsiah want to shift focus toward recruiting younger talent for their forward line.
