Transfer: Eberechi Eze will not play for us again – Crystal Palace manager, Glasner

Crystal Palace manager, Oliver Glasner, has confirmed that Eberechi Eze has played his last game for the club.

Glasner was speaking following their 1-0 victory over Fredrikstad in a UEFA Europa Conference League playoff on Thursday night.

Eze was excluded from the matchday squad completely, with Jean-Philipe Mateta scoring the winner at Selhurst Park.

Earlier in the day, there were reports that Eze could feature in the game and bid farewell to the fans ahead of his move to Arsenal.

But the 27-year-old informed Glasner that he is not well enough to play.

“I think that Eberechi Eze won’t play for Crystal Palace anymore. Wishing him all the best at his new club,” Glasner said.
