Transfer: Diaz decides to leave Liverpool as Barcelona contact Rodrygo’s agent

Liverpool forward Luis Diaz has decided to leave the Premier League champions this summer.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Bayern Munich are considering returning with a new bid for Diaz after Barcelona pulled out from the race to sign him.

Díaz is said to be open to joining the Bundesliga champions, but Liverpool have rejected two offers for the Colombia international.

The Reds want to keep Diaz at Anfield beyond this summer transfer window but the player wants to leave.

Meanwhile, in another development, Barcelona have contacted Real Madrid forward Rodrygo’s agents to inform them that they want to start talks with the player if he decides to leave Los Blancos, UOL Esporte reports.

Rodrygo wants a guarantee from Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso that he would get more regular playing game-time in the new season.

The Brazilian was not a regular player during the FIFA Club World Cup tournament in the United States.
