Transfer: Details of Real Madrid’s deal for Álvaro Carreras revealed

Real Madrid on Monday completed the signing of Álvaro Carreras from Benfica.

Carreras signed a contract with Los Blancos that will see him remain at the Santiago Bernabéu until 30 June 2031.

He had joined Benfica from Manchester United after being named the Red Devils’ best Under-23 player of the 2021–22 season.

Carreras won this year’s Portuguese League Cup during his time at Benfica.

His presentation as a new Real Madrid player will take place on Tuesday at 1 pm in Madrid.

Carreras will speak to the media in the press room at Real Madrid City following his presentation.
