Transfer: De Paul to join Inter Miami as Man Utd suffer Mbeumo blow
Argentina midfielder, Rodrigo De Paul is all set to join Inter Miami from Atletico Madrid this summer.
According to Gastón Edul, De Paul will sign a 4-year contract with the Major League Soccer side.
De Paul will now have the opportunity to re-unite with his Argentina national team-mate and close friend Lionel Messi at Inter Miami.
Meanwhile, in another development, Manchester United have suffered a blow in their pursuit of Brentford attacker Bryan Mbeumo.
This comes after Brentford raised Mbeumo’s price tag, stalling Man United’s pursuit of the player.
Brentford reportedly upped their valuation of Mbeumo to £70m.
Man United’s chief, Jim Ratcliffe is said to rate the Cameroonian international at £65m and will not be pushed into paying more than his club’s valuation.
The Red Devils’ latest bid for Mbeumo was worth up to £62.5m and was swiftly rejected by the Bees.
