Transfer: Chelsea takes decision on selling Nkunku to Bayern Munich

Chelsea have turned down a loan offer from Bayern Munich for their forward Christopher Nkunku.

According to Sky Sports, the Premier League west London club are only keen on finding a permanent transfer move for the Frenchman this summer.

Nkunku is not part of Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca’s plans this season.

The 27-year-old wasn’t included in the Blues’ squad that drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday.

Nkunku has attracted interest from different clubs, including Bayern this summer.

However, Chelsea have now decided against selling Nkunku to the Bundesliga champions on loan.

Nkunku has played in the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich’s rival RB Leipzig in the past.

He netted 33 goals in 34 league games for Leipzig, the year before he made a transfer move to Chelsea.
