Chelsea have held talks with Ajax over the signing of their defender Jorrel Hato.

According to football transfer expert, Ben Jacobs, Ajax want £60m for Hato but Chelsea is hoping for closer to €40m.

However, it’s yet to be seen if the Blues will step up their bid for the 19-year-old star.

Meanwhile, in another development, Arsenal confirmed that striker Daniel Oyetunde has signed his first professional contract with the club.

Oyetunde joined Arsenal as an under-15 and following his two-year scholarship.

Reacting, Oyetunde told the club’s website: “I joined as an under-15, so this is my fifth year at the club.

“I have enjoyed every step, learnt a lot while I have been here. Obviously, my scholarship the last two years, I have learnt an immense amount from the coaches and the players I have played with. So this next year will be very interesting as well.”
