Transfer: Chelsea announce deals for two players
Chelsea have announced transfer deals for two of their players, Carney Chukwuemeka and Julia Bartel.
The Premier League west London club in separate statements on their website on Tuesday, announced that Chukwuemeka has completed a permanent transfer move to Borussia Dortmund this summer.
Chelsea also announced that Bartel has joined Atletico Madrid on a season-long loan.
Recall that Chukwuemeka joined Chelsea from Aston Villa in August 2022.
He recorded 32 appearances and netted two goals in all competitions for Chelsea.
“We want to thank Carney for his efforts and wish him well for the future,” Chelsea’s statement partly read.
Similarly, Bartel joined the Blues from Spanish club Barcelona last year.
She made her debut for the team against Twente in the Champions League in October.
