Transfer: Akanji to join Osimhen at Galatasaray

Manchester City defender, Manuel Akanji could join Victor Osimhen at Galatasaray this summer.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Galatasaray have approached Man City for Akanji’s signature.

The Turkish giants are keen to bolster their squad this summer transfer window and see Akanji as potential target at centre back.

Galatasaray have also spoken to the player’s agent in a bid to strike a personal agreement with him.

However, Akanji will have to make a final decision regarding his future at Man City before the summer transfer window closes in the coming days.

The Switzerland international was an unused substitute as Man City thrashed Bournemouth 4-0 in their Premier League opener last weekend.

The 30-year-old will have to compete with the likes of John Stones, Rúben Dias and Abdukodir Khusanov in Man City manager Pep Guardiola’s squad this season.
