Tolani Takes Over As Zone 16 New Police AIG

Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Alausa Hakeem Tolani has assumed duty as the new Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 16 Command Headquarters, Yenagoa.
This appointment follows the recent promotion and posting of DIG AA Hamzat, by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetukon.
AIG Alausa Hakeem Tolani brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having served in various capacities within the Nigeria Police Force and internationally.
With a graduate degree in Political Science, Tolani was commissioned into the Nigeria Police Force as a cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police on May 18, 1992.
Prior to his appointment as the 10th Zonal commander, Tolani served as the immediate past Commissioner of Police (CP) in charge of Police Account and Budget (PAB) at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
He has also held positions as Commissioner of Police Training and Commissioner of Police, Bayelsa State Command.
The Zone 16 Command Headquarters has appealed to the people of Bayelsa and Rivers State to extend their full cooperation and support to AIG Tolani, enabling him to leverage his expertise and skills to advance the Inspector General of Police’s agenda.
