‘Tinubu’s achievements in 2 years surpasses that of PDP in 8 years’ – Presidency

President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala on Monday claimed that the President’s achievements in two years have surpassed what the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, achieved from 1999.

The presidential spokesman made the claim in a post on X.

Bwala said Tinubu has degraded insecurity, which he said ran amok under the PDP administration, leading to the emergence of Boko Haram.

The presidential aide said Tinubu has been able to stabilize Nigeria’s economy, which was mismanaged by the PDP’s administration.

He likened Nigeria’s oil output under Tinubu to a miracle unlike the PDP era.

Bwala noted that Tinubu would not shy away from taking courageous decisions.

He wrote: “What President Bola Tinubu @officialABAT has achieved with our country in just two years has surpassed what PDP achieved in 8 years from 1999-2007:

“Facts: From 1999-2007 our foreign debts were forgiven. In PBATs case he has had to pay them

“From 1999-2007 the whole world was looking to our direction with sympathy, support and freebies having come out of military interregnum. In PBATs case he is confronted with the challenge of having to prove himself, and he did with the economy

“From 1999-2007 Nigerians were united in diversity and insecurity was far less than what PBAT found on assuming office.”
