Tinubu congratulates three Nigerian students for topmost performance at UK competition

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated three Northern Nigerian students who came first in the English Language competition at the 2025 TeenEagle Global Finals in London, United Kingdom.

A presidential spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.

His commendation comes as the trio of Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu, Rukayya Muhammad Fema, and Hadiza Kalli Kashim emerged best in English language skills, debate, and outstanding talent awards, respectively, at the TeenEagle Global Finals in the UK.

Reacting, Tinubu commended the exceptional young Nigerians for the feat and affirmed that the nation’s future is much brighter with many of its youth as repositories of excellence.

“The President encourages Nafisa, Rukayya, and Hadiza to remain steadfast in their studies and wishes them continued success,” the statement partly reads.

Recall that the Yobe State government promised to honour Nafisa and Rukayya, indigenes of the state, for their exceptional performance.
