Tems Beat Chris Brown, Davido, Asake, Burna Boy To Win Second Grammy Award

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has won her second Grammy Award.

Tems’ hit song ‘Love Me Jeje’ was named winner of the Best African Music Performance category at the 67th Grammy Awards held in Los Angeles on Sunday.

She won the coveted awards over other nominations including Tomorrow by Yemi Alade, MMS by Asake featuring Wizkid, Sensational by Chris Brown featuring Davido and Lojay, and Higher by Burna Boy.

Tems was also nominated for Best Global Music Album (Born in the Wild) and Best R&B Song (Burning)

The singer earned her first Grammy award last year for her contribution to Future’s hit single ‘Wait For U’.
