Super Eagles must beat Rwanda to send World Cup warning – Udeze
Former Super Eagles defender, Ifeanyi Udeze has urged the team to beat Rwanda today, Tuesday, to send a serious warning to the home team.
The Amavubi top the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying group that also has the Super Eagles.
Torsten Spittler’s side have seven points from four matches, three points ahead of the Super Eagles, who are second from bottom.
The East Africans will host the Super Eagles in a 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying tie at the Amahoro Stadium, Kigali on Tuesday (today).
Udeze reckoned that victory over the hosts would send fears to the opposition.
“Let’s beat Rwanda today and send a big warning to them for the World Cup,” Udeze said on Brila FM.
“Victory today will put some fear in Rwanda.”
