Stanley Nwabali signs three-year contract extension with Chippa United

The first-choice goalkeeper of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Stanley Nwabali has signed a three-year contract extension with South African club side Chippa United.

Chippa United announced in a statement that Nwabali has signed a three-year contract with the club and also disclosed that the 28-year-old player has now been appointed as the club’s new captain.

The club in an official statement issued on Friday disclosed that they are incredibly proud of the player’s dedication and commitment to the club over the years.

In the statement, Chippa United extolled the leadership qualities of Nwabali on and off the field, while also noting that he has been exemplary and that they believe that he is the right person to guide their team through the challenges ahead.

“We are pleased to announce that Stanley Nwabali has signed an improved three-year contract with Chippa United FC,” reads the club’s official website.

“We are incredibly proud of Stanley’s dedication and commitment to the club. His leadership on and off the field has been exemplary, and we believe he is the right person to guide our team through the challenges ahead. With this being said Stanley will be our new team captain for the upcoming season.

“We wish Stanley continued success in his career, both in domestic competitions and on the international stage. We look forward to achieving great things together in the seasons to come.’’ The statement by Chippa United concluded.
