Soludo Applauds JAMB Top Scorer

The Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has commended Christian Okeke, who emerged as the highest scorer of the 2025 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) with an outstanding 375 out of 400.
Soludo, through his Facebook page on Wednesday, described Okeke’s result as an incredible achievement.
“I’m so proud of you, Chinedu, for placing Anambra on the global map once again. Your brilliance is a testament to the greatness of our state.
“Congratulations to you and your proud parents, Arch Chris & Ifeoma Okeke. May your success story inspire many more Ndi Anambra to strive for excellence,” Soludo said.
THE WHISTLER reported JAMB’s announcement of the top scorers in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Tuesday.
According to the examination board, Okeke chose the University of Lagos as his first choice and opted to study Mechanical Engineering.
He is closely followed by Ayuba Simon-Peter John from Gombe State, who scored 374 and chose Afe Babalola University (ABUAD) to study Mechanical Engineering.
The third position is held by Jimoh Abdulmalik Olayinka from Kwara State, who scored 373, chose the University of Lagos and Mechanical Engineering as his preferred institution and course, respectively.
