Solana Establishes First Official Hub in Dubai

Solana has taken a major step in strengthening its presence in the Middle East with the launch of Solana City, its first official hub in Dubai. The initiative, led by Superteam UAE, is designed to bring leading blockchain teams under one roof while expanding opportunities for builders and contributors across the Solana ecosystem.

The newly unveiled hub will accommodate eleven high-performing teams working within the Solana blockchain. It is located inside a large multipurpose complex that combines luxury retail outlets, premium residences, and more than 52,000 square feet of coworking space. Within this, thirty-six desks are reserved exclusively for blockchain developers and Web3 professionals, creating an environment focused on collaboration, technical innovation, and ecosystem growth.

While the facility is not open to the general public, Superteam UAE confirmed that coworking guest passes will soon be made available. These passes will prioritise active contributors within the Solana community, particularly global Superteam members who can demonstrate ongoing involvement. Hosting costs for visiting contributors will be covered by the teams extending the invitation.

In an announcement, Superteam UAE described the hub as a space where “eleven S-tier teams join forces in the heart of Dubai” and emphasised plans to host a mix of workshops, networking events, and collaborative meetings.

The launch is paired with a slate of community events running from September 3 through December 5 in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Highlights include Solana Sync: Back to School Pizza Break on September 4 in Dubai, Stablecoin Connect: Solana x MESA Panel Discussion in Abu Dhabi on September 11, and the Solana Spacewarming Lunch on September 25. October will feature Building Together: Women in Web3, while the season will close with a Solana Social Mixer in Dubai on December 5.

According to Superteam UAE, entry into the coworking hub will be guided by a “proof of work” principle—ensuring that individuals accessing the space are actively contributing to the ecosystem. The initiative reflects Solana’s broader ambition to foster meaningful developer engagement, attract investors, and strengthen community ties in the Middle East’s rapidly growing blockchain sector.
