Solana drives NFT market revival with record $356M monthly sales
NFTs made a notable comeback in October, recording a significant 18% sales surge that broke a seven-month slump for digital collectables.
After hitting a low of $300 million in September, total NFT sales climbed to $356 million in October, indicating renewed interest and activity in the space.
Solana-based NFTs played a substantial role in this rebound, contributing $67 million to the total monthly volume and bringing Solana’s all-time sales volume to nearly $6 billion, solidifying its status as the second-largest blockchain in the NFT market.
The month also saw a sharp rise in transaction numbers, with 7.2 million NFT transactions in October—a 42% increase from September.
This recovery was further supported by robust weekly volumes, as the first week of October reached over $84 million, the highest weekly volume since August.
Leading collections like Mythos Chain’s DMarket and Immutable’s Guild of Guardians Heroes topped sales charts, while Ethereum-based blue chips like Bored Ape Yacht Club and CryptoPunks continued to perform strongly.
Solana-based collections, including DogeZuki and Froganas, added nearly $25 million to the blockchain’s sales, further boosting the platform’s standing in the NFT ecosystem.
