Sokoto United coach, Ajeni sets target ahead of new season

Sokoto United head coach, Peter Ajeni says he is confident in the team’s ability to finish strong in the upcoming season.

Ajeni’s side are drawn in Northern Conference Group D for 2024-25 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.

Sokoto United will compete with Wikki Tourists, Zamfara United, Ijele United, Mailantarki Care, Mighty Jets, Gombe United, Adamawa United and Barau FC in their group.

“We are aware of the challenges posed by our group opponents, but we are confident in our team’s ability to compete and secure a strong position in the league,” Ajeni told Sokoto United’s media.

“We are excited to get back to work and build on the progress made in previous seasons.

“Our goal is to ensure Sokoto United FC is competitive and successful in the NNL, and we are committed to providing the necessary resources and support.”
