A member representing Kebbe/Tambuwal Federal Constituency, Hon. Abdussamad Dasuki, has launched a N100m Ramadan Palliative Programme for his constituents for the holy month of Ramadan.

The programme was flagged off in Sokoto on Friday, with the aim of providing relief to the people of Kebbe/Tambuwal Constituency during the holy month.

A 35-man committee, chaired by Hon. Abubakar Sadik Sarkin was inaugurated to oversee the implementation of the programme.

Dasuki charged the committee to ensure equity and fairness in the distribution of the palliatives, emphasizing that all 21 wards of the constituency should be carried along.

“The programme is expected to bring succour to the people of the constituency, especially during the holy month of Ramadan”.

The launch of the programme was attended by stakeholders from Kebbe and Tambuwal local governments, including Hon. Bashir Isa Jabo, member representing Tambuwal East Constituency, and former members of the Sokoto State House of Assembly, Hon. Sule Hantsi Romo and Hon. Danmalle.
