Serie A: Why Chukwueze is struggling for form — AC Milan boss, Pioli

AC Milan manager, Paulo Fonseca has revealed the reason behind Samuel Chukwueze’s struggles at the club.

Chukwueze had a promising pre-season, where he scored against Real Madrid and registered two assists versus Manchester City.

The 25-year-old has however struggled to maintain that form since the start of the new season.

The winger has started only two games for the Rooseneri in the current campaign.

Fonseca said the former Villarreal player needs to up his game.

“Chukwueze had a very good pre-season; I think he just needs to build confidence within the context of Serie A, where you have neither time nor space to think and must make the right decisions quickly,” Fonseca said in an interview with the club’s official website.
