Rivers United’s clash will be difficult – Enyimba midfielder Akanni

Enyimba midfielder, Elijah Akanni is expecting a tough battle against Rivers United, DAILY POST reports.

The nine-time Nigeria Premier Football League champions will take on Rivers United at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt on Sunday.

Akanni expressed his admiration for Rivers United’s technical crew headed by his former coach, Yemi Olanrewaju.

“I know it’s going to be an interesting one,” Akanni told BSN Sports.

“We’ll be playing against a well-managed side that is still unbeaten.

“We’ve also not started badly. I’m looking forward to an intriguing encounter.”
