Remo Stars Sign Two Malian Players Ahead Of New Season

Nigeria Premier Football League champions Remo Stars have announced the signing of two Malian players, Chaka Coulibaly and Adama Goita ahead of the 2025-26 season.
The Sky Blue Stars are preparing to defend the title they won for the first time last season, and also set to participate in the CAF Champions League.
Midfielder Chaka Coulibaly and striker Adama Goita have both signed two-year contracts with the club.
Remo Stars confirmed their signings with a statement on their X handle on Wednesday.
The statement read: “THE MALIAN SWOOP. We are pleased to announce the signing of midfielder, Chaka Coulibaly and striker, Adama Goita. Both have put pen to paper on a two year deal.”
Coulibaly joined the Sky Blue Stars from Association Sportive Binga FC of Mali while Goïta arrived on a free transfer having last played for Malian outfit AS Bakary Djan.
He scored 14 goals for Bakary Djan last season, and he will be hoping to propel the Sky Blue Stars to another league triumph at the end of the season.
Remo Stars will open their 2025-26 NPFL campaign against Rivers United on Friday.
