PSG Suffer Dembele Injury Blow

PSG star Ousmane Dembele is set to miss their French Ligue 1 clash against Strasbourg on Saturday due to a hamstring injury.
The French forward limped off in the 1-0 win over Arsenal on Tuesday after scoring the winning goal in the encounter.
The former Barcelona star has been a key player for the Parisians this season with a series of match-winning performances.
PSG coach Luis Enrique has now confirmed that Dembele will miss out of the clash against Strasbourg, while hoping to have him back against Arsenal.
He said: “Tomorrow he won’t play, that’s for sure. We’re going to do what we’ve been doing up to now, with the same idea. Nothing has changed.
“The most important thing is that every minute spent wearing the PSG jersey is useful for matches in other competitions.”
PSG missed out on the opportunity to go an entire season unbeaten after they suffered a 3-1 loss to Nice last weekend.
The former Barcelona coach said he is not bothered about the unbeaten record as they prepare to face Arsenal on Wednesday and Reims in the French Cup final later this month.
Enrique said: “It’s a match we’re preparing for in the Champions League, in the Coupe de France, not for the unbeaten record.
“It would be great to win the match in Strasbourg, but the motivation is to prepare for the Champions League match, not to break an unbeaten record.”
He is targeting another final for the club after they lost to Bayern Munich in the 2020 final.
Enrique concluded: “We want to achieve this objective of playing this final, but there is still the semifinal second leg.
“There is not much time to rest, you have to manage all of this. We, the coaches, go for the best. I’ve been a top-level coach for several years and it’s part of the job.”
PSG are 20 points clear of second-placed Marseille with 78 points from 31 matches, winning 24, and drawing six with one defeat.
