Premier League Side Wolves Seal €27m Agreement to Sign Tolu Arokodare From Genk

Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare will join Wolverhampton Wanderers of the English Premier League (EPL) in a €27 million deal with top-flight Belgian team KRC Genk.

Only personal terms and medicals remain before the transfer is finalised, according to sources close to the negotiations who confirmed the deal on Friday. It is anticipated that the 23-year-old forward will commit to a long-term deal at Molineux.

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, the player will complete his medical at Wolves later today after the EPL team agreed to €27 million for his transfer from Genk.

“The deal is done, as exclusively revealed.” Romano wrote on his official X page.

Since joining Genk from the French side Amiens in 2023, Arokodare has been one of the team’s most impressive players. He has scored 21 goals in the Belgian Pro League and impressed with his physical presence and aerial prowess.

Several elite European clubs in Germany and Italy were also interested in him because of his performances, but Wolves have finally taken significant action to sign him.

As manager Vítor Pereira looks to bolster the team in anticipation of a challenging Premier League season, the transfer is viewed as a significant boost to Wolves’ attacking options.

The towering Nigerian striker is anticipated to contend with his teammates, Jørgen Strand Larsen and Hwang Hee-chan, for a starting position in the Wolves squad.
