In its efforts to fight against crime through intelligence-led policing, community partnership, the Jigawa State Police Command, has arrested six suspected cattle rustlers.

This was contained in a press statement signed by the command’s public Relations Officer SP. Lawan Shiisu Adam.

Adam said the development is due to proactive leadership of CP Dahiru Muhammad.

He said the suspects were separately arrested in Hadejia, Malam-Madori, Auyo and Birniwa.

According to the statement, seven cows were recovered from the suspects.

CP Dahiru Muhammad commended the efforts of Divisional Police Officers, operatives and vigilante groups for their resilience in fighting crime.

The CP also urged residents to remain law-abiding and vigilant and continue to provide timely and credible information to the police for effective service delivery.
