Peter Obi: ‘I’ll not support fraudulent person, your evidence will help us’ – Yesufu to Adeyanju

Activist, Aisha Yesufu has pleaded with Mr. Deji Adeyanju to provide Nigerians with proof of recent claims he is making against one of the 2027 presidential aspirants, Peter Obi.

On more than one occasion, Adeyanju has used the word “fraud” against Peter Obi, saying he had valid evidence to prove the former Anambra Governor is not who he claims to be.

He had also called Obi a manipulator and religious bigot in his recent outburst against the former presidential candidate which many Nigerians believe is allegedly being sponsored by the All Progressives Congress, APC, government.

Obi has already dragged Adeyanju to court to come and provide evidence of his alleged fraudulent activities.

Aisha, a strong supporter of Peter Obi, said there was no need to exchange words with Adeyanju, adding that since he has evidence, he should present it in court.

The former Bring Back Our Girls, BBOG, campaigner pointed out that the case will offer her and millions of other followers of Peter Obi the opportunity to have access to Deji’s evidence so that they will know whether to continue their support for Obi or withdraw it.

“Barrister Deji Adeyanju @adeyanjudeji has repeatedly said that he has evidence to show that Mr Peter Obi @PeterObi is a fraud and that Mr Peter Obi should sue him. This is a lawyer speaking!” Aisha wrote on X.

“As a supporter of Mr Peter Obi, I am interested in the evidence the Barrister has. I would not be one to give support to anyone that is fraudulent so this case will offer me and millions of others the opportunity to have access to the evidence Barrister Deji has so we know whether to continue our support for Mr Peter Obi or withdraw it.

“Mr Peter Obi going to court is the civil thing to do. Where one is defamed especially from a LAWYER, then one should go to court.

“If Mr Peter Obi had used machinery of the State to get Barrister Deji arrested and thrown into jail like many of the dictators we fight are doing then I would be leading a #FreeDejiAdeyanju and calling out Mr Peter Obi!

“As for now, #LetsHaveTheEvidence!”
