President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has disclosed that former presidential candidate, Peter Obi can only hope to be president in 2031.

Bwala disclosed this while noting that Obi can’t be Vice presidential candidate in 2027.

Featuring on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Bwala said Obi can only be the campaign Director General in 2027.

He said: “Peter Obi is not even going to be Vice Presidential candidate. He is going to be DG of the campaign with the hopes that he will be President in 2031.”

Obi is currently a part of the coalition that adopted the African Democratic Congress, ADC.

Yesterday, Obi had declared his interest to run for presidency in 2027.

During the 2023 presidential election, Obi came third behind former presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and eventual winner, President Bola Tinubu.
