PANDEF Holds Crucial Meeting In Bayelsa

Hours after the South-South governors met in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, the leadership of the Pan-Niger Delta Development Forum (PANDEF) converged in the City for a crucial meeting.
They were received by Governor Douye Diri alongside the Deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrujakpo, and other top government functionaries, who welcomed and congratulated the current executive of PANDEF under the Chairmanship of Ambassador Godknows Boladei Igali to Bayelsa.
The governor urged PANDEF to play a key role in the advocacy for the development of the Niger Delta region.
“On behalf of the government and people of Bayelsa State, I welcome the leadership of PANDEF to Yenagoa.
“Everything you have said here about true federalism and infrastructure decay are burning issues affecting the Niger Delta region, ” he said.
On the entourage of the PANDEF Chairman were Rear Admiral Gboribiogha John Jonah, Board of Trustee member and other national and state executives.
