Over 4,312 Driver’s Licences Unclaimed In Osun – FRSC
The Osun State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has disclosed that 4,312 driver’s licences have remained unclaimed across the state.
In a statement issued on Tuesday in Osogbo, the Command’s spokesperson, Mrs Agnes Ogungbemi, revealed that out of the 4,453 permanent licences available, only 141 have so far been collected by their rightful owners.
She further stated that of the unclaimed licences, 2,970 have already expired, while 1,342 remain valid.
Ogungbemi urged motorists to visit designated FRSC offices to collect their licences and warned that failure to do so could result in serious consequences.
“Driving without a valid licence is an offence. Motorists found without one may have their vehicles impounded and face further penalties,” she said.
The FRSC appealed to residents of Osun State who applied for their licences to check and collect them promptly in order to stay compliant with road safety regulations.
