Otti Self-Motivated To Transform Abia – Kalu

The Secretary to the Abia State Government Prof Kenneth Kalu, has said that the present administration in Abia state led by Governor Alex Otti is succeeding in its transformational agenda due to its determination to render quality service to the people of Abia.

Kalu stated this during the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria ordination and admission into the office of ‘Ruling Elder’ held at the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria Rumuomasi Parish Port Harcourt North Presbytery on Sunday.

Prof. Kalu pointed out that self determination is a veritable tool to achieve success in rendering efficient service to God and humanity.

Speaking further after the church service, Prof Kalu congratulated the newly ordained Elders and charged them to take the assignment seriously and serve with humility and dedication to please God at all times .

He advised the members of the church to support the new elders of the church to enable them succeed.

Preaching on the theme; “A vessel of Honour” The moderator cum Minister in charge PCN Rumuomasi Parish Port Harcourt, Rt. Rev, Ndukwe Daniel who made it clear that higher calling attracts higher challenges urged the newly ordained Elders not to show off but carry themselves with honour,dignity and integrity to render quality service to God and humanity.

In their separate responses, some of the newly ordained Elders, Engr. Chimezie Umezie and. Mrs Mercy Ogba thanked God for the opportunity to serve and promised to serve with the fear of God for all round spiritual growth of the church.
