Osimhen’s transfer: Middle ground found, agreement reached for Nigerian striker
A middle ground has been found between Napoli and Galatasaray regarding the transfer of striker Victor Osimhen.
This was disclosed by sports presenter, Volkan Kılıç on Wednesday night.
According to Kılıç, an agreement has been reached and Osimhen’s transfer is expected to be announced by weekend.
“A middle ground has been found in the Osimhen transfer. An agreement has been reached,” Kılıç wrote on X.
“I expect the Osimhen transfer to be announced by the weekend at the latest. Congratulations in advance.”
This is coming a week after Kılıç revealed that Osimhen’s transfer won’t be finalized.
According to him, no middle ground and agreement yet as Galatasaray’s chief Abdullah Kavukcu is putting in intense effort.
He said that the Galatasaray side is doing everything possible to complete the transfer of Osimhen this summer, adding that Napoli wants a large portion of the money in cash, plus additional guarantees.
Kılıç had last month insisted that Galatasaray will contact Newcastle United for their star striker, Alexander Isak if they fail to sign Osimhen on a permanent transfer from Napoli.
However, with the latest development, Galatasaray won’t contact the Premier League club.
