Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen has highlighted the influence of Didier Drogba, Peter Etebo and Henry Onyekuru while providing insight into his move to Turkish giants Galatasaray.

Drogba, Etebo and Onyekuru all played for Galatasaray in the past.

Osimhen joined Galatasaray on loan from Napoli in the summer after interest from Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Al-Ahli.

The 25-year-old has scored two goals and provided three assists since joining Galatasaray.

Speaking recently with the club’s YouTube channel via NTVSpor, Osimhen said:

“To be honest, there were a lot of players I idolized and followed since I was little.

“Drogba is one of them. Onyekuru and Etebo played here [Galatasaray] before, I knew the atmosphere was good, I saw it.

“I actually looked online but what I saw in reality was much more magnificent, what I saw here was great.”
