Onana out of Man United’s preseason
Manchester United goalkeeper, Andre Onana, has been ruled out of their preseason matches.
Onana has suffered a hamstring injury, which could see him miss the start of the new campaign.
The 29-year-old is expected to miss four to six week of action.
Amid speculation about a potential departure this summer, Onana looked set to begin the new season as United’s No. 1.
According to the Telegraph, Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim could be forced into looking for a new stopper in the summer market.
The other goalkeeper options available to Amorim within the United squad are Altay Bayindir, Radek Vitek and Tom Heaton.
United begin their pre-season games against Leeds on July 19, before travelling to the US to take on West Ham, Bournemouth and Everton.
They will then fly back for a friendly against Fiorentina at Old Trafford on August 9.
