Omah Lay’s label mate, Kaestyle claims Awoniyi was sacked as singer’s manager

Omah Lay’s label mate, Kaestyle, has claimed that the ‘Soso’ crooner’s erstwhile manager, Muyiwa Awoniyi, was sacked and they didn’t part ways amicably as he (Awoniyi) insinuated on social media.

DAILY POST reported that Awoniyi revealed in an X post on Friday afternoon that he’s no longer managing Omah Lay after years of working together.

Barely an hour after he made the post, Omah Lay’s label mate and collaborator, Kaestyle, posted a cryptic message, writing; “Dem sack you, you say I’m no longer… lol always quick to go on social media.”

Awoniyi took the post as a shade at him and quoted it, explaining that he agreed to manage Omah Lay to liberate him from an unfavorable deal with his record label, KeyQaad, which Kaestyle is also signed to.

He claimed that he quit managing the singer after freeing him from the deal, adding that Kaestyle is still “a slave” under the record label.

He wrote, “I agreed to manage Omah to get him out of the very slave deal that you signed. Now he is out, I also am out. You on the other hand are a slave.”

Meanwhile, Omah Lay has appreciated Muyiwa Awoniyi for his time working with him, describing him as “most intelligent” person he has ever met.

On his X handle, he wrote, “@IAmDonawon The most intelligent n*gga I’ve met so far in the game, love you forever my blood.”

Responding, Awoniyi said, “Love you my brother. Clarity of mind is on the way now finally!”

Awoniyi also revealed in another post that Omah Lay has concluded plans to exit KeyQaad and has established his own imprint called ‘Boy Alone’.

However, Omah Lay is yet to confirm his exit from KeyQaad or the establishment of his own imprint.
