Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo has nominated Professor Roland Otaru, SAN, and four others as commissioners-designate.

A statement by Barrister Umar Musa Ikhilor, Secretary to the State Government, listed other nominees to include Barr Vincent Osas Uwadiae, Etin-osa Ogbeiwi, Saturday Uwuilekhue Idehen and Charity Amayaenvbo.

Ikhilor said the names of the nominees would be forwarded to the Edo State House of Assembly for consideration and confirmation.

Uwadiae, a former Chairman of the Edo State Oil and Gas Producing Areas Development Commission, EDSOGPADEC, was one of the elected 14 lawmakers that were not inaugurated during the administration of former Governor Godwin Obaseki.

Ogbeiwi formerly served as a member of the Edo State House of Assembly, while Idehen was a former commissioner as well as former Chairman of Orhionmwon Local Government.
