Okomu Oil Surpasses Forecasts, Reports N34.8 billion Pre-Tax Profit in Q2 2025

Okomu Oil Palm Company Plc has announced an impressive interim dividend of ₦30 per share for the half-year period ending June 30, 2025, delighting shareholders with one of the most substantial payouts on the Nigerian Exchange this season.

The agribusiness giant recorded a significant surge in its revenue, reaching ₦129.83 billion during the six months, marking a 73.09% rise compared to the ₦75 billion posted in the first half of 2024.

The company also reported a profit after tax of ₦47.538 billion, reflecting a 135.38% increase year-on-year from ₦20.196 billion recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.

Earnings per share for the period stood at ₦49.83. Based on the current trading price of ₦950 per share, Okomu’s price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio is calculated at 19.06x, translating to an earnings yield of 5.25%.
