NWFL unveils groups for 2025 Championship

The Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, has announced the groupings for the 2025 Championship.

Group A1 has Royal Queens, Gallant Queens, Castmog Ladies and First Mahi Babes, while Group A2 has Sunshine Queens, Fortress Ladies, Unification FC and Kwara Ladies.

In Group B1, Pelican Stars were paired with Ahudiyannem Queens, Wazbak International and Chosen Generation Angels, while Group B2 has Osun Babes, Ghetto Tigers, Moje Queens, Delta Babes and Imo Striker Queens.

The Championship is scheduled to hold from September 11th to 21st, 2025.

The matches will be played in Umuahia and Abiriba in Abia State.

The winners of each group will secure automatic promotion tickets to the NWFL next season.
