NPFL: Super Eagles goalkeeper joins Rivers United on free transfer

John Noble has joined former Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, champions , Rivers United.

Noble was formerly on the books of the nine-time NPFL champions, Enyimba before his move to the Tanzanian League in 2023.

The Shot stopper featured for Tanzanian clubs, Tabora United and Singida Fountain Gate

Noble’s contract with the Singida Fountain Gate expired at the end of the 2024-25 season.

The 32-year-old goalkeeper has already started training with Rivers United.

His experience will play a crucial role for Finidi George’s side in CAF Champions League campaign next season.

Noble won the NPFL title with Enyimba in 2023.
