NPFL: Sunshine Stars will beat Abia Warriors — Boboye

Sunshine Stars Technical Adviser, Kennedy Boboye says it is a must for his team to secure maximum points in the game against Abia Warriors.

Boboye stated that the victory would give the team the opportunity to push for the Nigeria Premier Football League title.

Sunshine Stars will host Abia Warriors in a matchday three fixture at the Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode on Sunday.

“Any team that wants to win the league must maintain a good position on the log to show their readiness for the title and that is the more reason we must win tomorrow’s encounter against Abia Warriors,” Boboye told Sunshine Stars media.

“Since our game plan against Remo Stars did not work out, we will approach our match against Abia Warriors with more seriousness and ensure we come out victorious.

“We can’t say we want to win the league and be struggling in sixth or seventh position, we must always be among the first three on the table.”
