Alimi Sikiru has agreed a move to Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side Rivers United.

According to reports, Alimi is set to undergo medicals ahead of his transfer to the former NPFL champions.

The veteran striker will sign a one-year contract with the Port Harcourt club.

Alimi’s contract with the reigning NPFL champions, Remo Stars expired last month.

He is rated as one of the best strikers in the Nigerian top-flight.
