NPFL: Rivers United throw gate open for Kwara United showdown

Rivers United have thrown their gates open for their first home game of the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, season against Kwara United.

The Pride of Rivers will face Kwara United at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium on Sunday.

The encounter is scheduled to kick off at 4pm.

The management of the club disclosed this in a statement on Thursday.

They urged the club’s supporters to join them for the game.

Rivers United held reigning NPFL champions, Remo Stars, to a 1-1 draw in their opening fixture of the new season.
